PRENTISS TOWNSHIP – Harold R. King, 67, husband of Donna (Stewart) King, died April 25, 2007, at a Lincoln hospital. He was born June 29, 1939, in Lincoln, the son of Carlton and Roselyn (McCafferty) King. Harold enjoyed hunting and fishing, buying lottery tickets, going to kids ballgames, playing Beano and pull tickets. He loved to read and his new garage. Harold worked for the Maine State Department of Transportation for 44 years where he was a supervisor. He was most recently employed at Wal-Mart. He had many, many friends. In addition to his wife, Donna, his survivors include four children, Michael and his wife, Carla King, of Lincoln, Shelley Smith and Wayne, Jennifer Gordon and Shawn, all of Prentiss, and Deven King and his fianc?e, Chantel Parker, of Bangor; six grandchildren, Carlita King, Allan Smith, Aaron King, Brianna Gordon, Jordan Smith, and Dustin Gordon; a brother-in-law, Stephen Stewart and his wife, Donna and their son, Cody, of Springfield; many aunts, uncles and cousins, as well as many special friends. Friends may call 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Saturday at Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Road, Lincoln. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home with the Rev. Bruce Swan officiating.
