BREWER and GLENBURN – Harris Vernon Andrews, 85, husband of the late Helen Mabel (Grant) Andrews, died unexpectedly Dec. 29, 2003, at his home. He was born in Brewer Nov. 6, 1918, the son of Harris and Catherine Angelina “Jean” (McDonald) Andrews. He was employed with Eastern Fine Paper Co., Mack’s Baking Co., Page Electric, Snow Electric and lastly was self-employed as a paper carrier for the Bangor Daily News. Surviving are one daughter, Helen Jean Lucier of Glenburn; a grandson, Alan G. Lucier of Westbrook; a brother, Alfred H. and his wife, Rosemarie Andrews, of Jay; nieces, nephews and friends. He was predeceased by three brothers, Leon, Lawrence and Frederick Andrews; and by four sisters, Elizabeth Lynch, Mary Byers, Althea Waters and Hope Nichols. Friends may call 3-7 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2003, at Brookings-Smith, Clark-Piper Chapel, 55 South Main St., Brewer, where funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday with the Rev.
