HARRY A. ‘BUZ’ WELLS BREWER and HOLDEN Harry A. “Buz” Wells, 39, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, unexpectedly July 11, 2008. He was born Oct. 22, 1968, in Bangor, son of Harry and Dolores Wells. Buz is now free from all of the pain and torment from which he suffered for so long. He first attended private school and then attended Hampden Academy. He was very gifted with machines and loved working on vehicles. He also loved music and was naturally gifted with instruments, especially the drums. Buz had a unique ability to love those whom the world had cast aside and looked down upon, and he was always there to help and remind them that God loved them. He loved animals and had many. He was generous to those he loved and expressed this by the work of his hands. Everyone who really knew him spoke of his huge, kind heart. Buz leaves behind his mother, Dolores Blanchard; father, Harry Wells; two beautiful children, that he adored and bragged about constantly, Courtnie Wood and Buzzy Wells; and his paternal grandmother, Martha Wells. He will be greatly missed by his sister, Stephanie, who adored her big brother. Lastly, he is survived by Shellie Wells, the love of his life, his soul mate as he called her. He was predeceased by two infant daughters; maternal grandparents, Frank and Leone Page; paternal grandfather, George Wells Sr.; an uncle, Ronald Robertson; and a cousin, Richard Newbury. He will be missed and continually loved by his family. Family and close friends are invited to a service honoring Buz’s life 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 15, at Bangor Baptist Church, 1476 Broadway, Bangor, with the Rev. Dr. Jerry Mick, senior pastor, presiding. Memorial contributions supporting his family may be made to the Wells Family, care of Dolores Blanchard, 1206 North Main St., Brewer, ME 04412. Arrangements by Kiley & Foley Funeral Service, Bangor and Brewer. Condolences may be offered at www.kileyandfoley.com.
