BLUE HILL – Harry Edward Tyler, 80, died Jan. 17, 2008, at Blue Hill Mem-orial Hospital. He was born Oct. 2, 1927, in Blue Hill, the son of Roy and Delia (Leach) Tyler. Harry served in the U.S. Navy during World War II in the Pacific. In 1951 he married Joyce Candage. He owned and operated his masonry business and was a commercial fisherman for many years. Harry loved the outdoors. He enjoyed gardening, fishing and spending time with his family. He was a member of East Blue Hill Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Joyce; sons, Keaveny E. Tyler and wife, Lucie and Kyle H. Tyler, all of Blue Hill; daughters, Tamara E. Tyler of Mill Valley, Calif., and Kimberly T. Granger and husband, Michael C., of Blue Hill; grandchildren, Jeremy, Jerusha, Ellisha, Caleb, Elizabeth, Kruger and Jesse; great-grandchild, Solomon; brother, Avery Tyler; sisters, Elizabeth Ruttencutter, Joan Cole, Sally Packard and Cynthia Bibler; and special nephew and niece, Roland Carter Jr. and Janel Carter. A graveside service will be held in the spring at Mountain View Cemetery, North Blue Hill. Contributions in Harry’s memory may be made to Blue Hill Fire Department, P.O.
