BREWER – Harry Siegfried Hershall, 81, died unexpectedly Oct. 7, 2005, at a Bangor hospital. He was born May 18, 1924, in Berlin, Germany, the son of Henry and Elsie Hershall. Harry served his country in the U.S. Army during World War II stationed in the European Theater. He worked for 55 years for Electrolux as a division manager. Harry was a member of the American Legion in Waterville. He enjoyed golfing and was a member of the Pine Hill Golf Club. Harry is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Virginia “Ginny” (Fletcher) Hershall; a brother, Paul Hershall of Kingston, Md.; by a special friend, Cecil Wilson of Brewer, and his daughter, Linda Hickman and husband, Earle, of Unity; and his dog, Brandy. Friends are invited to visit with the family 5-7 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 12, at Brookings-Smith Clark-Piper Chapel, 55 South Main St., Brewer, where funeral service will be held 10 a.m., Thursday, Oct. 13, with the Rev. Adam Soderberg, pastor of the East Orrington Congregational Church officiating. Interment will be at Woodlawn Cemetery, Brewer.
