HOULTON – Hartley A. Crane, 59, died July 24, 2007. He was born Jan. 27, 1949, in Houlton, the son of Harry and Genevieve (Haggerty) Crane. Hartley was a longtime employee of Ward Log Home, working there for more than 35 years. He was a past member of Houlton Lodge of Elks No. 835, where he volunteered many hours during his membership. He is survived by his son, Brian Crane and his wife, Monica, of Presque Isle and their daughter, Emily; his daughter, Kara Crane and Brian Fonseca of Watertown, Mass.; two brothers, Stephen and Thomas; two sisters, Lillian and Edna; special niece, Stephanie Crane; several nieces and nephews. Friends may call 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Friday at Dunn Funeral Home. A private graveside service will be held at a later date. Gifts may be made in Hartley’s memory to the Hartley A.
