JACKSONVILLE – Helen H. Berry, 91, died Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2003, at a Milbridge health care facility. She was born July 17, 1912, in Topsham, the daughter of John P. and Mary J. (Guptill) Hayward. Helen was a graduate of Calais Academy, class of 1930. She was a member of the Jacksonville Methodist Church. Helen is survived by a son, Warren G. Ross Jr. and his wife, Darlene, of Turner; a step-son, Edwin Berry; six step grandchildren; a very special grandson, Steven Berry; three special friends, Jo Ann Brandan, Ellen Sue Jennings, and Heather Sterges; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by her first husband, Warren G. Ross Sr.; her second husband, Maurice L. Berry; two brothers; and three sisters. Graveside funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 18 at the Lower Settlement Cemetery, Wesley. Arrangements are by Bragdon-Kelley-Campbell Funeral Home, Machias.
