DEBLOIS – Helen (Francis) Harrington, 66, died March 22, 2005, at a local hospital after a long illness. She was born June 17, 1938, in Bass Harbor. She was predeceased by her parents, George M. Francis Sr. and Rachel R. (Gott) Francis; and two grandchildren, Mark G. Lossing II and Natalie Lewis. Helen is survived by her husband of 35 years, John D. Harrington; one sister, Jacqueline Hart of Southwest Harbor; one brother, George M. Francis Jr. of Old Town; her four children, Greg Lewis and wife, Irene, of Trenton, Kathey Lossing and husband, Mark, of Hawaii, Debbie Gilley and husband, Jack, of Manset, and Mark Harrington and wife, Margaret, of Deblois; grandchildren, Tina Lewis, Miranda Lossing, Jessie, Mindy and Jillian Gilley, Tracie Hewett and fianc?, Dan, Ricky Harrington and wife, Michelle, Ravin Curtis and fianc?, David, and Amanda Maticic and special friend, Greg; many great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Per Helen’s request, there will be no services. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Cancer Care of Maine, 417 State St., Suite 20, Bangor, ME 04401.
