BAR HARBOR – Helen Hubbard Clough, 74, past away peacefully, Sept. 16, 2004, in Bar Harbor. She was born Sept. 21, 1929, in Ellsworth, the daughter of Jay and Bertha Hubbard. Helen worked for several families throughout her life and stayed home to raise her family. Helen accomplished many things during her life. Her greatest and most proud accomplishment was her family, her grandchildren and her great-grandchildren. She was a bright light in everyone’s life that she touched. She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Paul Clough of Bar Harbor; one son, Jay Clough of Bar Harbor, six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, many special friends and family. Friends are invited to call 2-4 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 19, 2004, at Jordan-Fernald Funeral Home, 48 Eden St., Bar Harbor, where funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Monday, Sept. 20, with the Rev. Scott Records officiating. Interment will be at Woodbine Cemetery, Ellsworth. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Helen’s memory may be made to the Bar Harbor Fire Department, 37 Firefly Lane, Bar Harbor, ME 04609.
