BUCKSPORT – Helen M. Gross, 80, went home to be with her Lord on Nov. 3, 2003. She was born in East Orland, on May 1, 1923, the daughter of Joseph and Mildred (Hatch) Lynch. She was a very loving mother and wife. She was predeceased by her husband, Raymond, who passed away in 1992, shortly after their 50th wedding anniversary. Helen was an employee of Rosen’s Department Store, Bucksport, for many, many years. She loved being around family and friends, and will be greatly missed. Her church family was a central part of her life. Helen is survived by sons, David Gross and his wife, Kerrie, of Bend, Ore., Ronald Gross and his wife, Sheri, of Bucksport; and daughter, Brenda Morrow and her husband, David, of Tacoma, Wash.; sisters, Doris Judkins of Penobscot, Eleanor Anderson of Ellsworth; and brother, Bob Lynch of Great Falls, Mont.; as well as five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. Visitation for family and friends will be 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, at the Evangelical Baptist Church, Bucksport, where a funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, with Pastor Michael Donato officiating. Interment will be in Hillside Cemetery, Bucksport. In lieu of flowers, donations in Helen’s memory may be made to the Evangelical Baptist Church, P.O. Box Q, Bucksport, ME 04416.
