OAKFIELD – Helen S. “Snook” Boutilier, passed away Monday, April 18, 2005. She was born Dec. 22, 1924, in Oakfield, the daughter of James and Helen (Sherman) Swallow. Helen was a great Red Sox fan, and enjoyed cribbage, fishing at Skitacool Lake, and picnics at Bill’s camp with her picnic family: Arthur and Cathy Briggs, Keith and Brenda Hersey, John, Crystal and Colton Folsom at St. Croix Lake. She also enjoyed her special friends, Gayleen Leavitt and niece, Amber McGary. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Ronald Boutilier; two daughters, Anne Odgers and husband, James, Brenda Farrar and husband, Arnold; grandchildren, Jennifer Hersey and fianc?, Kirk Cleveland of Barton, Vt., Nathan Hersey and fianc?e Michelle St. Peter of Old Town; stepgrandchildren, Lisa and Larkin Odgers of Connecticut, Foss Odgers of Alaska; great-stepgrandchildren Morgan Odgers of Connecticut, and Turner Odgers of Alaska; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two sisters, Sis Fisher and Betty Shields; and a brother, Paul Swallow. Graveside service will be held in the Oakfield Cemetery at a later date.
