MARS HILL – Helene “Gerry” Miller, 77, died March 26, 2007, at a Houlton hospital. She was born May 1, 1929, in Waterbury, Conn., the daughter of Russell and Eunice (Craig) Paget. She retired from the Aroostook Health Center, Mars Hill, after more than 25 years of service as a certified nurse’s aide. She was a member of the United Baptist Church, Mars Hill; the Orange Lodge, Easton; and the Women’s Afternoon Bowling League, Presque Isle. Surviving her is her husband, Keith “Bucky” Miller of Mars Hill; sons, Edward J. Miller of Corinth, Russell E. Miller and his wife, Linda, of Chaptico, Md.; a daughter, Sharon A. Duncan and her husband, Dirk, of Presque Isle; a sister, Audrey Fletcher and her husband, Merle, of Zephyrhills, Fla.; seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Predeceasing her, in addition to her parents, was a sister, Doris Foster. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Thursday at Duncan Funeral Home, Mars Hill, with Pastor Lawrence Beals officiating.
