HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. – Hendrick C. Cole, 74, died Easter Sunday, April 11, 2004, after a long illness. He was born July 29, 1929, in Auburn, the son of Leslie M. Cole and Marie Olsen Cole. He was a graduate of Edward Little High School and a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He was a former 32nd degree Mason of No. 23 Tranquil Lodge of Auburn, and a former member of the Anah Temple Shrine of Bangor. He was a sales representative for Commerce Clearing House until his retirement. He is survived by his four children, Deborah Martin of Huntersville, N.C., Brenda Cole of Sacramento, Calif., Eric Cole of Bangor, Jeffrey Cole of Fair Oaks, Calif.; three granddaughters; and a brother, Franklin Cole of Huntersville, N.C. He was predeceased by another brother, Leslie M. Cole Jr., in 1981. A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Friday, May 21, 2004, at Grace Lutheran Church, 757 Summer St., Auburn.
