BUCKSPORT – Henry E. Dean, 81, died Dec. 20, 2006, at an Ellsworth nursing facility. He was born Aug. 29, 1925, in Pittsfield, son of Leslie and Laura Dean. Henry worked for Dale Henderson, Jasper Wyman and Longview Lumber. He is survived by his wife, Leola (Snowman) Pye Dean of Bucksport; four stepchildren, Harry Pye Jr. and his wife, Carol, of Seal Harbor, Charlotte and her husband, Roland Hutchins Jr., of Orland, Daniel Pye Sr. of Bucksport and James Pye and his wife, Renee, of Bucksport; 11 stepgrandchildren; two great-stepgrandchildren. A memorial service will be held a later date, to be announced. Interment will be at Riverview Cemetery, Bucksport. Arrangements by Mitchell-Tweedie Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 28 Elm St., Bucksport.
