BRADFORD – Herbert T. Drew, 69, died Jan. 4, 2006, at a Bangor hospital. He was born Dec. 17, 1936, in Oakfield, the son of Howard and Stella (Brewer) Drew. A U.S. Army veteran, Herbert had attended Bradford schools and then Higgins Classical Institute. After his father passed away, Herbert joined his mother and later his brother, Kilburn joined them in running the Drew Dairy Farm. He was a member of the J.P. Chaisson American Legion Post No. 41. Herbert is survived by a brother, Kilburn Drew of Bradford; two sisters, Sarah Dickson of Bradford and Pauline Drew of New Britain, Conn.; two aunts, Mrs. Viola Caruso of Readsboro, Vt. and Norma Drew of Woodland; and several cousins. He will be remembered by special friends, Gary Huff and family, Paul Little and family, Dave McGuire, the Wickett family, Laura Waldron, Judy Brasslet and Robin Hunt and family. Friends are invited to call 6-8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 6, at the Lary Funeral Home, Milo, where funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 7, with the Rev. Donald Booker, officiating.
