PRESQUE ISLE- Louise L. Johnsen, 91, died Jan. 5, 2006, at a local healthcare facility. She was born June 6, 1914, in Fort Fairfield, the daughter of Joseph and Mary (Sear) Cyr. Louise graduated salutatorian, Class of 1932, at Fort Fairfield High School. She had been employed for many years by Alvin Lobert of Romanoff Electrical Company in Toledo, Ohio. Predeceasing her were three husbands, Elwood K. Rasmussen, Orlando Gray and Miles Johnsen; a daughter, Hazel Rasmussen Baker; six brothers, Lewis, Henry, Elwood, Eugene, William and Joseph. She is survived by a daughter, Shirley R. Morris of Florenceville, N.B., Canada; five grandchildren, C. Stephen Morris, Alan Morris, John Morris, Andrew Baker and Michael Baker; three great-grandchildren; two brothers, Van Cyr of Presque Isle, Aubrey Cyr of Indialantic, Fla.; and several nieces and nephews. There will be no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St Mary’s Catholic Church later in the spring. Interment will be in the Green Ridge Cemetery in Caribou. In lieu of flowers, gifts in her memory may be sent to McMc (Musee culturel du Mont-Carmel), P.O. Box 150, Lille, ME 04746-0150. Arrangements are in the care of the Duncan-Graves Funeral Home in Presque Isle.
