LINCOLN – Herbert Wortman Graham, 86, died Nov. 15, 2007, in Lincoln. Herbert was born Aug. 1, 1921, in Wytopitlock, the middle of nine children to Robert and Minnie Graham. He lived his young life in Wytopitlock and Bath, and served during World War II in the Air Transport Command. Herbert was a life member of Horeb Lodge No. 93, a life member of Anah Temple Shrine and charter member of Northern Penobscot Shrine Club. Herbert enjoyed his activities at Lincoln Congregational Church. During his working years, he served as president of the Lincoln Rotary Club, as well as serving on the Lincoln School Board and Lincoln Town Council. Herbert is survived by his wife of 61 years, Marlene; daughter, Gayle and husband, Jeff Godfrey, of Midvale, Utah; son, Gary Graham of Murray, Utah; son, Ray and wife, Beth Graham, of Sullivan; and son, George Graham of Youngtown, Ariz. He is also survived by his sister, Gloria and husband, Phillip Knowlton, of Standish; brother, Bob and wife, Helen Graham, of Gorham; and sister-in-law, Aura Graham of Orono. Visiting and refreshments will be held noon-1 p.m. Nov. 25 at Lincoln Congregational Church. Funeral services with a coordinating Masonic memorial service will be held 1:30 p.m. that same day at Lincoln Congregational Church with the Rev. Darrell Joiner officiating, after which a graveside service will be held at Lincoln Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to First Congregational Church of Lincoln, P.O.
