OCALA, Fla. – Herman H. Brugman, 96, of Ocala, Fla. formerly St. Petersburg, Fla. died, Monday, Nov. 8, 2004, at his residence in Ocala, Fla. He was born in Rotterdam, Holland. He moved to St. Petersburg, Fla., in 1975, from Orono, and to Ocala, Fla., in 1998. He was a Methodist and member of Pasadena Community Church and the Civil Air Patrol in St. Petersburg, Fla. He retired in 1975, after 25 years with the University of Maine as a Professor in the Department of Animal Science. He was a member of Alpha Gamma Rho, Sigma Xi, Phi Kappa Phi and was a Ham Radio operator. He is survived by his son, Dennis of Ocala, Fla. Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery.
