HOULTON – Herman Moran, 62, passed away Feb. 25, 2004, at Bangor. He was born July 26, 1941, in Hodgdon, the son of Percy and Gertrude (Moulton) Moran. Herman was a member of the Houlton Band of Maliseet Indians, Houlton Knights of Columbus Council No. 1873, Northstar Search and Rescue and the American Red Cross Disaster Services. He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Bonnie (Sutherland) Moran; two children, Karen and her husband, Matthew Lewis, and Jerit Moran, all of Houlton; three brothers, Phil and his wife, Charlotte Moran, of Houlton, Rick Moran of Sacramento, Calif., and Chris Moran of Houlton; two sisters, Linda and her husband, Timothy Raymond, and Linda Estabrook, all of Houlton; several nieces and nephews. Friends may call 7-9 p.m. Friday at the Bowers Funeral Home, 10 Water St., Houlton. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Houlton with Father Eddy Morin celebrant. Spring interment will be in the St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery.
