EDMUNDS – Hilda R. Trynor, 83, passed away Jan. 20, 2006, at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born April 8, 1922, in Houlton, the daughter of Archie and Gladys (Parsons) Friel. Hilda was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She was pre-deceased by her parents, her husband of 49 years, Capt. Earl Trynor; a daughter, Blanche; three sons, Edward Jr., Larry and Gordon Trynor. She is survived by three sons, David and his wife, Diane, of Fort Myers, Fla., Paul of Portland, Carl and his wife, Debbie, of Portland; four daughters, Alfreda Murray and her husband, Bruce, of Edmunds, Connie Richards, and friend, Norman Langley, Gladys Burnham of Windham, Hilda Brown and her husband, Timothy, of Westbrook; special grandsons, Thomas Trynor of Edmunds, Mark Trynor and girlfriend, Sarah, of Eastport; special granddaughter, Erica Woodward and her husband, Kevin, and their children, Alex and Hope; a special granddaughter, April Burnham of Windham; a daughter-in-law, Bonnie Edgecomb and her husband, Wayne, of Standish; very special friends, Eileen Dougherty, Suzie Kilton, Debbie Berry; 21 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. Friends may call 2-4 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 25, at the Flagg Funeral Home. At Hilda’s request there will be only a graveside memorial service at Bayside Cemetery in the spring.
