SWANVILLE – Margaret Dean Moore, 74, of Swanville, passed away Saturday, Jan. 21, 2006, at home surrounded by her family. She was born Dec. 19, 1931, in Lincolnville where she lived until marrying Howard E. Moore and moving to Swanville in 1948. She enjoyed puzzles, reading, gardening, knitting and needlework. Her family was the focus of her life. She was predeceased by her father, Harold E. Dean; her husband, Howard E. Moore; a brother, Ralph Dean; sister, Shirley Dean; and a grandson, Howard E. Moore II. Margaret is survived by her mother, Alcadia Hutchins Dean of Swanville; six children, Carolyn Knight and husband, James, of Monroe, Harold Edward Moore and wife, Cheryl, of Jackson, Robert Paul Moore of Swanville, David Michael Moore and wife, Catherine, of Swanville, Cynthia McIntire and husband, Carleton “Mickey,” of Swanville and Karen Ann Moore of Bangor; a sister, Sylvia Walker of Swanville; 10 grandchildren, Kathy Adams, James E. Knight Jr., Harold Edward Moore, Beth French, Robert Moore Jr., Jennifer Fairbrother, Heidi Seekins, Samantha Penney, William Penney and Michelle McIntire; and six great-grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by many family and friends. Friends may call between the hours of 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 24, at the Crabiel-Riposta Funeral Home, 182 Waldo Ave., Belfast. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, at the Faith Temple Church of God, Lincolnville Avenue, Belfast with the Rev. Arthur Fairbrother Jr., officiating.
