BANGOR – Hollis C. Parker, Jr., 56, died March 16, 2004 at an Orono healthcare facility. He was born July 19, 1947, in Bangor, the son of Hollis and Avis (Churchill) Parker. He attended Bangor schools, worked at Phoenix Industries and resided at Common Sense Housing for a short time, and was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Bangor. He enjoyed swimming, horseshoes, camping, dart ball, and was a member of the First United Methodist Church Dart Ball team. He is survived by his mother, Avis Parker of Bangor; one brother, Samuel Parker and his wife, Gail, of Albany, N.Y.; two sisters, Mary and her husband, John Remmers, of Altamont, N.Y., Vicki and her husband, Glenn Mower, of Bangor; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by his father, Hollis C. Parker. Graveside services will be held later this spring at Mount Hope Cemetery, Bangor.
