OLD TOWN and ONEONTA, N.Y. – Patricia Duplissa, 85, died March 15, 2004, in Cooperstown, N.Y. She was born March 4, 1919, in Bangor, the daughter of Stanley and Rose (Keenan) Lambert. She married Frank Duplissa Dec. 10, 1938, in Bangor. Pat enjoyed socializing with her extended family and friends at Robynwood Adult Home (NY) and watching softball games in Neahwa Park. She will be remembered for her fiery spirit and great sense of humor. She will be greatly missed by everyone whose life she touched. She is survived by her son, Thomas Duplissis of Pen Yan, N.Y.; and daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and Laurence Spindler of Belton, S.C.; two sisters, Lucille Pepin of Seattle, Wash., and Roselle Campbell of Bangor; six grandchildren, Sherry Place, Terri Beers, Daniel Liddle, Eugene, Jessica, and Derek Duplissis; nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband of 62 years, Frank, on Sept. 25, 2001; granddaughter, Jaylene Rathbun; sisters, Margaret Bennette and MaryEllen Predergast; and brothers, Thomas Lambert and John Turner Jr. Funeral services will be held 4 p.m. Wednesday, March 17, 2004, at Bookhout Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oneonta N.Y., where friends may call from 2 p.m. until time of service.
