BROOKSVILLE – Hortense Elizabeth Hutchinson, 82, died Jan. 3, 2004, at a Penobscot healthcare facility. She was born April 3, 1921, the daughter of Herbert L. and Mary E. (Nevills) Hutchinson Sr. Hortense had been a member of the South Brooksville Methodist Church for more than 43 years. She had also been a member of the W.S.C.S for a number of years. She is survived by a very special niece, Arlene LaBrie and husband, Roger, of Brooksville; many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. She was predeceased by the following brothers and sisters, Herbert Hutchinson Jr., Everett Hutchinson, Eula Gray, Grace Jenkins, Ida Carter and Lana Allen. Friends are invited to call 10-11 a.m. Tuesday at the South Brooksville Methodist Church, where funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. with Rev. Gary Vencill presiding. Spring interment will be at Edgewood Cemetery, Brooksville.
