CHERRY HILL, N.J. – Howard J. Landry, 71, died Dec. 23, 2004. He was the beloved husband for 49 years to Jeanne L. (nee Brooks); loving brother of Lorraine Veves and Patricia Connolly, both of California, Ruth Spellman of Brewer, Robert Landry of West Collingswood Heights, N.J., George Landry and Floyd Landry, both of Brewer and Paul Landry of Damariscotta; many nieces and nephews and his dear sister-in-law, Nancy Soule of Augusta. A graduate of the Maine Maritime Academy, he was a line officer for the United States Navy, a member of VFW Post 3620 in Gloucester City, N.J.; a member of the American Legion Post 38 in Haddonfield, N.J., president of the International Federation of Professional and Technical Engineers, Local 3, for 16 years and president of the IFPTE Atlantic Council for four years. Viewing will be held 7-9 p.m. Tuesday and 9:30-10:30 a.m. Wednesday in the Schetter Funeral Home, 304 W. Rt. 70, Cherry Hill, N.J. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday in St. Pius X RC Church Cherry Hill, N.J. Interment will be in Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Wrightstown, N.J.
