HARRINGTON – Ina G. Smith, 90, wife of the late George R. Smith for 53 years, went to be with the Lord, Saturday, April 2, 2005, in Harrington. She was born April 2, 1915, in Columbia Falls, the daughter of Lettie Lee and Moses Jeff Worcester. She was a member of the Faith Methodist Church in Harrington and was active in the U.M.W. and the church choir. Ina is survived by a son, George E. Smith and his wife, Catherine Naylor-Smith of Hurricane, W. Va.; three grandchildren, Matthew Naylor-Smith of Richmond, Ky., Leah Naylor-Smith and Whitney Naylor-Smith, both of Hurricane, W.Va.; and a dear friend, Kathy Dowling of Harrington; several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her husband, Ina was predeceased by five half sisters and two half brothers, Hazel Fickett, Julia Giles, Lettie Lee Tibbitts, Stella Emery, Rena Treadwell, Ellery S. Worcester and Harvey Elmore Worcester. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, April 8, at the Bragdon-Kelley-Campbell Funeral Home, 47 Main St., Milbridge. Spring interment will be at the Forest Hill Cemetery, Harrington. Gifts in memory of Ina may be sent to the Faith Methodist Church. U.S. Route 1, Harrington, ME 04643.
