BELFAST – Inez A. Fogg, 97, went to eternal rest Sept. 10, 2005, at a local healthcare facility. Born April 14, 1908, in North Brooksville, she was the sixth child of Eugene S. and Evelyn Maud (Blodgett) Snow. She moved to Belfast with her parents and her brother Harvey in 1923. She graduated from Crosby High School in 1924. This was the first class to have graduation in the New Crosby School. She also took post-graduate classes for one year. She worked for the local telephone company from 1927-1963, and then for 10 years she was bookkeeper for the Penobscot Poultry Company. She was married on March 14, 1946, to Walter S. Fogg, who predeceased her. Inez was a member of the First Baptist Church of Belfast, the Jolly Neighbors of Brooks, and the VFW Auxiliary. She was also an active volunteer in many organizations including RSVP and the ARC. In years past she played piano for the enjoyment of the residents of The Bradbury Manor and Tall Pines. She supplied taxi service for friends to most any place especially Brooks and Church suppers. Inez is survived by many nieces and nephews who loved her dearly. Funeral Services will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 14, at the First Baptist Church in Belfast. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 13, at the Rackliffe Funeral Home, 54 Church St., Belfast. Burial will follow in the family lot at the Grove Cemetery, Belfast. In lieu of flowers friends may donate to the following Organizations: Mary Ann Snow Bates Education Foundation, P.O. Box 277, Brooksville, ME or the First Baptist Church of Belfast, P.O. Box 581 Belfast.
