WESTFIELD – Inez E. Bartlui, 93, died Friday evening, July 1, 2005, at a Mars Hill healthcare facility. She was born Aug. 9, 1911, at DeBec, N.B., Canada, the daughter of Charles and Leona (McIntyre) Golding. She worked as a cook at Northern Maine Technical College in Presque Isle for many years. Inez enjoyed arts and crafts, especially knitting and quilting. She loved to read and cook. She was a charter member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Westfield. She is survived by three sons and their wives, Hale and Claudette Bartlui of Bower Bank, Barry and Sandra Bartlui of Westfield, Ronald and Susan Bartlui of Caribou; a daughter, Rose Marie Da Fonte of Pelton, Del.; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Norvil Bartlui in 1984. Funeral services were held 1 p.m. Monday, July 4, 2005, at the Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, 30 Church St., Presque Isle, with Pastor Steven Nestle and Pastor Lawrence Beals officiating. Interment will be at Marshall Cemetery, Westfield. Donations may be made in memory of Inez to the Mars Hill Nursing Home, Highland Avenue, Mars Hill, ME 04758.
