EASTPORT – Inez Ruth Magnano, 86, died Thursday, Nov. 15, 2007, at Eastport Memorial Nursing Home. Inez was born March 9, 1921, in Eastport, as Mary Margaret Cunningham, daughter of the late William and Lucy (Cross) Cunningham. She was a registered nurse for New England Baptist Hospital, Boston. Upon returning to the Eastport area, Inez was the community health nurse in Washington County for many years. She was predeceased by her husband, Louis Magnano in 1989. Surviving are three children, Joseph Magnano, Lisa Bleheen and her husband, Thomas, and Julie Magnano, all of Quincy, Mass.; a sister, Frances Wilson and her husband, John, of Eastport; two nieces, Rosemary Ricker of Florida and Irene Rogers and her husband, Skip, of Dennysville; several great-nieces and great-nephews. A graveside service will be held 1:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 19, at Hillside Cemetery, Eastport, with Father Eugene Gaffey officiating. Arrangements by Mays Funeral Home, Eastport & Calais.
