HODGDON – Maxine Quint, 78, died Nov. 15, 2007, at a local health care facility. She was born Oct. 12, 1929, in Greenfield, the daughter of Guy and Pansy (Faulkner) Madden. Maxine graduated from Higgins Classical Institute and then Ricker College. She was a member of Hodgdon Methodist Church. She loved cooking for her family and friends, spending time with her grandchildren and especially time spent with family at the Deering Lake camp. She is survived by four sons, Duane Quint and his wife, Bonnie, Galen Quint and his wife, Jill, Randy Quint and his wife, Deanna, and Olin Quint and his wife, Tracy, all of Hodgdon; one daughter, Andrea Nightingale and her husband, Frank “Buzzy,” of New Limerick; 13 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; three brothers, Hollis Madden of Florida, Steve Madden of Greenfield and Carroll Madden of Olaman; one sister, Sharon Bobalek of Topsham; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband of 57 years, Roy A. Quint. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Monday at Dunn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Marilyn Rohdin officiating. Interment will be at Hodgdon Cemetery.
