BANGOR – In Loving Memory of Irene M. Arasate, 82, who died peacefully, March 31, 2006, at the Stillwater Healthcare Facility in Bangor. She was born June 4, 1923, in Old Town, the daughter of predeceased father and mother, Henry and Alice (Randall) Lizzotte. Irene enjoyed a wonderful life of loving her family and friends. Irene loved to go to yard sales with her daughters Lolly and Sharon, and granddaughter Lisa, and others. Irene loved to laugh, have a good time, cooked everyone’s favorite dish, and always had a big smile for everyone. She is survived by her beloved son, Lou Arasate of Chicopee, Mass.; loving daughter, Sharon Liberty and husband, Art, of Bangor; son-in-law, Robert Wescott of Verona Island; loving sister, Ruth Fickus of New York; brothers, Louis Lizzotte and wife, Millie, of Bangor, and Robert Lizzotte of Glenburn; seven very special grandchildren, Lisa and husband, Tim Varnum, Eric and wife, Wendy Moran, all of Verona Island, Derek Moran and friend, Steve Martin, of Augusta, Dicky Moran and wife, Andrea, of Verona Island, Keith Caven of Bangor, Jason Arasate of Chicopee, Mass., Robbie Wescott of Verona Island; great-grandchildren, Timmy and Tommy Varnum, Whitney and Brittney Moran, Robbie McGuire, and Mya Moran; several nieces and nephews. Irene was loved and admired by her many friends and co-workers. Predeceased by her husband, Sixto Arasate; and daughter, Lourdes “Lolly” Wescott; several brothers and sisters. Services will be held 11 a.m. Monday, April 3, at Mitchell-Tweedie Funeral Home, 28 Elm St., Bucksport with the Rev. Linda Smith officiating. Interment will be at the Riverview Cemetery in Bucksport.
