LAGRANGE – Iris Sue Look, 38, died Sept. 13, 2007, at her sister’s home in Hermon, after a long, courageous battle with cancer. She was born Oct. 26, 1968, in Machias, the daughter of Wesley and Edith (Huey) Look. She was a graduate of Machias Memorial High School. Iris Sue was devoted to her family and always enjoyed the many good times spent with family and friends. She is survived by her partner of 20 years, Michael Drake, their son and daughter, Michael Drake II and Morgan Drake, all of LaGrange; Michael’s parents, John and Rose Drake of LaGrange; his grandmother, Ella Brown of LaGrange; and his sisters, Lynn Rublee of Howland, and Jeannie Valley and her husband, Tony, of Brewer. She also leaves four brothers, Robert Duran and his wife, Patty, of Hermon, Terry Duran and his wife, Pam, of Hermon, Thomas Duran and his wife, Margaret, of Crystal Springs, Fla., and C.D. Duran and his wife, Cathy, of Omaha, Neb.; two sisters, Caroline Preston and her partner, Shawn Smith, of Hermon, and Nettie Mae Kilby and her husband, William, of Augusta; several nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to call 12:30 p.m. until time of service 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 15, at Lary Funeral Home, Milo, with Pastor David Morrison officiating.
