LITTLE DEER ISLE – Irving L. Haskell, 92, died Tuesday, Dec. 19, 2006, at a local nursing home. He was born Dec. 30, 1913, in Little Deer Isle, the son of the late George and Bertha (Douglass) Haskell. He was a member of the RLDS Church, Deer Isle. Mr. Haskell was married to Celia V. (Billings) Haskell who died in 1985. Family members include a grandson, Joshua Haskell of Woolwich; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by a son, Ronald Haskell, who died in 1991; and by his brothers and sisters. Graveside services will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 27, at Gray’s Hill Cemetery, Little Deer Isle, with Elder A. Dowe Eaton and Elder Winfield Billings officiating.
