FORT KENT – Isabelle (Corriveau) Roy, 85, beloved wife to the late Philemon Roy, died April 22, 2004, at a Farmington, Conn., hospital. She was born July 31, 1918, in St. Francis, the daughter of Ernest and Emma (Roy) Corriveau. She was a member of the Fort Kent Columbiettes, and a past member of the Fort Kent Senior Citizen Club. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. She is survived by her children, Maurice of Veron, Conn., Roger of Fort Kent and Bertha Ouellette of Bristol, Conn.; two brothers, Patrick Corriveau of Caribou and Alphee Corriveau of Caribou; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one daughter, Beatrice Roy; three brothers, Adelard, Artheur, and Raoul Corriveau and one sister, Yvonne Landry. Friends may call 7-9 p.m. Monday and 1 p.m. until time of services Tuesday at the Daigle & Nadeau Funeral Home, Fort Kent. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 3 p.m. Tuesday at the St. Louis Catholic Church, Fort Kent, with the Rev. Claude Gendreau officiating. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery.
