FORT KENT – Isabelle (Levesque) Theriault, 82, died peacefully April 5, 2007, surrounded by her family, at a Frenchville health care facility. She was born June 8, 1924, in Fort Kent, the daughter of Exior and Amanda (Fitzgerald) Levesque. Isabelle was a member of the Ladies of St. Anne and the Association of the Handicapped, both of Fort Kent; which she received the Mother of the Year award for having been instrumental with special needs children. One of her favorite pastimes was cooking for her family, and especially dancing with her beloved husband. She will be dearly missed by family and friends. She is survived by her husband of 67 years of marriage, Yvon Theriault of Fort Kent; her five children, Yvon Jr. and his wife, Linda Theriault, of Prospect. Conn., Helden and his wife, Ginette Theriault, of Fort Kent, Patsy and her husband, Doran Bouchard, of Naples, Fla., Judy and her husband, Bob Newman, of Naugatuck, Conn., and Dale Theriault of Fort Kent; eight grandchildren, Scott, Michelle, Keith, Cheryl, Ellis, Lori, Chris and Nicole; 10 great-grand-children, Ryan, Mckenzie, Hannah, Preston, Zachary, Jordan, Deeanna, Colin, Doran and Houston, many nieces and nephews. In addition to both of her parents, she was predeceased by her granddaughter, Susan Theriault Gorton; one daughter at infancy, Rita Theriault; five brothers and one sister. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Monday, April 9, and 9 a.m. Tuesday, April 10, until time of the service at Daigle & Nadeau Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Louis Catholic Church, Fort Kent. Spring burial will be May 11, at the parish cemetery.
