March 18, 1929 – July 11, 2003 Dear Jack, it’s been five long years since you left me. It never goes away. I love and miss you so much. Wife, Alice MY DADDY It’s hard to believe it’s been five years since we last said our good-byes. It seemed like any other evening….your nightly visit, hugs and kisses, but the phone call telling us you were home safe never came. My doorbell rang and two officers delivered the dreadful news. I wish you could be here to see our lives today…you would be so proud of your three grandchildren. I see so much of you in them every day, which keeps the precious memories of you alive. As long as there is a breath in me, you will live in my heart forever. Daddy’s Little Girl, Patty Haverly-Johndro GRAMPIE JACK Why did you have to go? We looked and you were gone……we miss you so much. We know you’re watching us grow up. Please don’t ever forget us Grampie. Love you Grampie Jack forever. Your three special grandsons, Cody, Brock and Brody Haverly-Johndro
