HOULTON – Jack W. Brown, 55, died Sept. 25, 2005, at a local hospital. He was born July 12, 1949, in Houlton, the son of Calvin and Gladys (Burton) Brown. Jack was a former member of the Houlton Community Golf Course and the Houlton Lodge of Elks No. 835. He was employed with the Maine Glove Factory for more than 25 years. Jack is survived by his wife, Katherine (Hersey) Brown of Houlton; his parents of Littleton; two sons, Eric Brown of Portsmouth, N.H. and Jordan Brown of Houlton; one grandson, Isaac Brown; one brother, Gary Brown and his wife, Cynthia, of Winthrop; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Friends may call 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at the Dunn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, at the funeral home with the Rev. David Tuttle officiating.
