MILFORD – Jacqueline A. Thibeault, 62, passed away Saturday, Jan. 3, 2004, at an Orono Nursing facility under hospice care following a courageous battle with cancer. She was born July 10, 1941, in Fort Kent, daughter of the late Maxime and Mina (Theriault) Gorneault. Jacqueline had a special love for her five birds and she enjoyed teaching them to talk. She enjoyed fishing and camping with her husband. Jacqueline was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 84 and VFW Auxiliary Post 3318, both of Old Town. She was formerly employed with local shoe shops and a woolen mill. She is survived and will be sadly missed by her loving husband of 45 years, Alva of Milford; son, Galen Thibeault and his wife, Sandy, of Greenbush; two sisters, Ethel Thibeault of Milford and Eltine Clay of Orono; three grandchildren, Gary Thibeault and his wife, Katie, Gail Thibeault and Greg Thibeault, all of Greenbush; great-granddaughter, Elizabeth; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, Ella Thibeault; and one grandson, Galen Jr. Friends may call 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Birmingham Funeral Home, 438 Main St., Old Town.
