ISLESBORO – Jacqueline Grispi Leach, 71, passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 17, 2004, at Pen Bay Medical Center in Rockport, after a lengthy illness. She was born on March 25, 1932, in Rockland, the daughter of Mario and Phyllis (Pellicani) Grispi. She was a graduate of Rockland High School, Class of 1950. Until her illness, she was the office manager of Leach’s Express, her family business in Islesboro. Jackie is survived by her husband, Jack Leach; and by the children of her late husband, Ivan Berry: Dana Berry and his wife, Gail, of Lincolnville, Phillip Berry and his wife, Audrey, of Isleboro, and Joanne Quimby and her husband, Raymond, of St. George; and by 10 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Also surviving are Jackie’s sisters, Peggy Molloy, Midge Grispi, Joanne Butman; two aunts, Anna Miller and Josephine Bailey; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Isleboro Health Center. Arrangements are under the care of Cremation Services of Maine, 182 Waldo Ave, Belfast.
