JAMES H. WOOSTER 8, 2004, surrounded by his loving family at a Bangor hospital. He was born June 6, 1939, in Bangor, the son of Hollis and Ruth (Leighton) Wooster. He was employed for many years at the Penobscot County Sheriff’s Department. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and golfing. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Phyllis Wooster of Orrington; two sons, Ralph Wooster and his wife, Kathy, of Kingston, N.Y., Craig Wooster and Nikki of Brewer; one sister, Madeline Spencer of Bangor; two sisters-in-law, June DeBeck of Bucksport and Helen Harding of Brewer; many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by one brother, Maurice; one sister, Bessie; several brothers-in-law and a sister-in-law. A Service of Remembrance will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 11, 2004, at Brookings-Smith Clark-Piper Chapel, 55 South Main St., Brewer, with Rev. Robert T. Carlson, Chaplain of Penobscot County Sheriff’s Office, officiating. The Family invites relatives and friends to share conversation and refreshments at the Brookings-Smith Clark-Piper Chapel reception rooms following the service.
