MEDWAY and WAKEFIELD, N.H. – James Michael Michaud Jr., 20, passed away quietly Jan. 18, 2007, in his sleep at his home in Wakefield, N.H. from heart failure. Jimmy was born April 17, 1986, in Keene, N.H. He was a very mischievous and inquisitive young boy, eager to learn and do things like his dad. He was active in Boy Scouts and earned the Weblows highest award, the Arrow of Light. He was an avid hunter and fisherman from the time he was old enough to have a BB gun and a fishing pole. Jimmy attended Medway Primary School, Medway Middle School and Spaulding Regional High School, Rochester, N.H. Jimmy moved, in 1999 with his parents, James Sr. and Tammy (Rossignol) Michaud, from their native home of Medway to Wakefield, N.H., where he started his own family. Jimmy is survived by his father and mother, James Sr. and Tammy (Rossignol) Michaud of Wakefield N.H.; Emily Melanson, the mother of their son, James Michael Michaud III, of Ossipee, N.H.; two sisters, Nicole Michaud and Mike Witham of Wakefield, N.H., and Stephanie Michaud and J.R. Towers of Medway; two brothers, Jonathan and Tanner Michaud of Wakefield, N.H.; a special friend and companion, Kerry Hartford; maternal grandmother, Virginia Gordon of Medway; and paternal grandparents, Darrell and Jackie Duprey of East Millinocket; also many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins who all loved him dearly.
