DANVERS, Mass. – Janet Ann (Sullivan) Perrone, 66, beloved wife and mother, passed away Aug. 16, 2006, surrounded by her loving and devoted family, at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Boston, after a courageous battle with breast cancer. Born Dec. 13, 1939, in Bangor, she was the daughter of the late Timothy B. and M. Dorothy (Soucy) Sullivan. She was raised and educated in Bangor and was a graduate of John Bapst High School in Bangor and Mercy Hospital School of Nursing in Portland, where she earned her degree as a registered nurse. Janet was also a licensed real estate broker and certified real estate appraiser for more than 30 years and was a realtor at Northrup Associates in Lynnfield, Mass., for the past seven years. She was a proud member of the North Shore Association of Realtors, Massachusetts Association of Realtors and National Association of Realtors. Janet is survived by her beloved husband whom she was married to for 45 years, Coach Kenneth A. Perrone of Danvers, Mass. Janet was “the wind beneath his wings,” his biggest supporter, his biggest fan, his confidant and the love of his life. She was very much a part of her husband’s life as a coach, attending games and supporting his football and baseball teams for more than 50 years, during which time she developed a special closeness to many of the players and many have become part of her extended family. Janet was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She loved life and lived for her family. She was a giver, not a taker, always thinking and doing for others before herself and always providing an abundance of love, support and care. She was so proud of being a mother and grandmother and considered it to be her greatest accomplishment; her children considered it to be their greatest blessing. They were all the lights of her life. Janet is survived by her four adoring children, devoted daughters and sons-in-law, Kimberly and Elliot London and Kathy and Alexander Bogomolov of Lynn, Mass.; sons, Christopher Perrone and wife, Kathryn, of Mashpee, Mass., and Kenneth Perrone Jr. of Orlando, Fla. She is also survived by her seven precious grandchildren, Larisa, Alexander and Timothy Bogomolov, the triplets, Kylie and Kimberly Perrone and Christopher and Nicholas Perrone; and Miss Emily Ann London; her sisters-in-law, Yvette Sullivan and Lorraine Bowdoin; nieces, Annette Sullivan Fenderson and Karen Sullivan, all of Veazie, Colleen Bowdoin Spencer of Augusta; nephew, James Edward Bowdoin of Winslow; uncles and aunts, Frank Jr. and Mary Soucy, Don and Connie Soucy, Mary and Pete Gilgan of Bangor and Nancy Soucy of Brewer; as well as many other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
