HAMPDEN – Janet Hoyle, 88, of Hampden and Castine passed away July 1, 2006, in her home at Avalon Village retirement community. Janet was born Oct. 17, 1917, in Franklin, Mass. She was the daughter of Harry and Adabelle Ferguson. She and her late husband, Earl Hoyle, lived in Sudbury, Mass. until their retirement to Castine in the late 1970s. Janet moved to Avalon Village in Hampden in 2002. She is survived by her three children, Andrea Hatch of Castine, Alison Ryan of Essex Junction, Vt. and Byron Hoyle of Eagle, Colo.; seven grandchildren, James Hatch, Sarah Hatch Wright, Mark Hatch, Beth Ryan-Jacobson, Timothy Ryan, Matthew Hoyle and Benjamin Hoyle; and five great-grandchildren, Katherine Hatch, Heather Hatch, Wesley Wright, Adabelle Wright and Evelyn Ryan-Jacobson.
