MORRILL – Janette L. Curtis went home to be with her Lord April 14, 2005. She was born Sept. 28, 1936, in Rockland, the daughter of Irvin and Elmyra (Harvey) Ryan. She was an active member of the Morrill Baptist Church and participated in the outing groups. She enjoyed working with Holmes Greenhouse making wreaths and planting. She enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping with her husband and family. She was predeceased in 2001 by her husband, Ronald “Hump” Curtis. She is survived by three sons, Wayne Curtis of Morrill, Ralph and Raymond Curtis, both of Belfast; two daughters, Shirley Morse of Morrill, and Ronda Curtis of Bangor; a sister, Dorothy Kurr of Rockland; 14 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Monday, April 18, at the Morrill Baptist Church with the Rev. Tom Franks officiating. Interment will be at the Grove Cemetery in Belfast. Arrangements are under the care of Crabiel-Riposta Funeral Home, 182 Waldo Avenue, Belfast.
