LUBEC – Janice Anne (Boud) Northrop, 60, passed away Nov. 20, 2007, surrounded by her family at a Bangor hospital, after an extended illness. She was born Nov. 19, 1947, in Salem, Mass. Janice attended Peabody High School and married Harold “Bud” Northrop, June 10, 1967. She was predeceased by her parents, Samuel and Mary (Joly) Boud. She is survived by her husband of 40 years, as well as their four children, Mary Mayo and husband, Michael, of Rockland, Roberta Willey and husband, Bruce, of Cherryfield, Stephanie Cassidy and husband, Tom, of Greenville, N.H., and Raymond Northrop and companion, Angela Robinson, of Addison; six grandchildren, Samuel, Jordan, Patrick, Zachary, Paige and Ruth; sisters, Patricia Cummings and husband, Robert, of Salem, Mass., twin sister, Joan Nieves and husband, Jose, of Peabody, Mass., and Rita Constantino and husband, James, of Deltona, Fla.; a special uncle, Edward Joly of Georgetown, Mass.; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with the Very Rev. Mark Nolette officiating. A gathering of family and friends will be held after at the family home. Memorial donations may be made to Lubec Regional Medical Center, the American Lung Association or a charity of choice. Funeral arrangements are under the care of McClure Family Funeral Services.
