RUTLAND, Mass. – Jayne L. (Haney) Goodnow, died Oct. 23, 2004, after a long illness. She is survived by her mother, Matilda “Tilly” (Martelli) Haney; and the late Thomas N. Haney; two brothers, Thomas E. Haney of Hyde Park, Vt., and Stephen D. Haney of York; two sisters, Rita Quist of Rutland, Mass., and Josephine Dupal of Lisbon Falls; two aunts and three uncles, many nieces and nephews and a long time companion, Gerald Hilsman of Webster, Mass. Jayne has many cousins in Caribou. She graduated from Worcester Girls trade school with a major in Culinary arts and worked as a baker. She was a member of the First Congregational Church in Rutland, where a memorial service was held on Oct. 26, 2004.
