ASHLAND and PRESQUE ISLE – Jean A. Page, 82, died July 23, 2005, at her home surrounded by family. She was born Aug. 27, 1922, in Washburn, the daughter of Harry and Caroline (Hunter) Bugbee. Jean loved entertaining family and friends and feeding everyone. Famous for her cooking, we were all more than happy to sit up to her table! She spent her life caring for others, especially helping to raise several nieces and grandchildren who will forever benefit from her loving care and guidance. Her illnesses were many but they never stopped her from giving of herself to so many family members and friends. We are all better people for having had her in our lives. Jean had been an active member of the Ashland Advent Christian Church for many years. She was predeceased by her husband of 60 years, Harrison H. Page; and two brothers, Maurice and Harold Bugbee; and three sisters, Mary Bugbee, Doris Rundstrom and Florence I. Bugbee. She is survived by a son, Donald Harrison Page and his wife, Caroline (Churchill) Page; four grandchildren, Jonathan Page, Heidi (Page) Roberts, Kristina Page and Brittany Page; and several nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews. There will be no calling hours. Graveside services will be conducted 2 p.m. Tuesday, at the Ashland Municipal Cemetery with the Rev. Nathan Gardiner officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice, the Building Fund of the Ashland Advent Christian Church or to Hospice of Aroostook, P.O.
