VAN BUREN – John J. “June” Corbin, 60, died July 23, 2005, at a Bangor hospital. He was born Aug. 28, 1944, in St. Leonard, N.B., Canada, the son of John J. and Celia (Corbin) Corbin Sr. He was employed as a supervisor at the Van Buren landfill for many years. June is survived by two sisters, Lorraina Pelletier of Grand Falls, N.B., and Nancy Jimenez of Bridgeport, Conn.; four brothers, Albert Corbin of Chatham, Ontario, Sylvio Corbin, Frank Corbin, and Robert Corbin, all of Van Buren. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the St. Bruno-St. Remi Catholic Church. Interment will be in the St. Leonard, N.B., Cemetery.
