FREDERICTON, New Brunswick, and LINNEUS – Jean P. Trafton, 82, passed away Saturday, July 10, 2004. Born in Linneus, she was the daughter of the Late William and Annie (Parrish) Stewart, and wife of Rev. Norman E. Trafton. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Jean was employed locally by the towns of Linneus, Hodgdon, and Amity as well as Houlton Hospital. She retired as registrar with Bethany Bible College, Sussex, New Brunswick, where she worked for 21 years. She is survived by her husband of 14 years, Rev. Norman E. Trafton; four stepchildren; 10 stepgrandchildren; three step-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her 10 brothers and sisters. The funeral service was held Wednesday with the Rev. Karl Ingersoll officiating, assisted by Pastor Graham Crandall. Interment was held in the Olivet Wesleyan Church Cemetery.
