ST. AGATHA – Jean Paul Michaud, 81, died Feb. 15, 2004, at a Madawaska nursing home. He was born Jan. 25, 1923, in St. Agatha, the son of Romain “Bill” and Claudie (Sylvain) Michaud. He was a third degree member of the Knights of Columbus, served in the U.S. Army and was a member of the American Legion Post 145 of Frenchville. He is survived by his wife, Elsie (Lee) Fedorek (Michaud) of 50 years; one brother, Roland of St. David; one sister, Sister Louise Michaud of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada; and several nieces and nephews. Friends and relatives may call 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday and 8:30 a.m. Wednesday until time of service at the Michaud Funeral Home in St. Agatha. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the St. Agatha Catholic Church, with the Rev. Phil Cyr officiating. Burial in the St. Agatha Lower Cemetery will be in the spring.
